Linn Jaw Waterfall: from lucky find to Indian themed photoshoot

There is always a bright side, right? This lockdown in Scotland was harsh but the good outcome - it made people to explore local areas more. I an not an exception. To tell the truth, I alway take a chance to see a new location however very often I take a day trip to nearby Highlands or coast line as local walks seems to be available an easy to go. As a result - I never go see to them! Restrictions made us all to give a go to neighborhood little gems we used to ignore as Scotland is very rich for breathtaking scenery.  One evening, scrolling Insta feed  to check nice walking path around my house, I suddenly saw a...

Lake of blue flowers

I am not gonna try to squeeze out some pretty story to support the pictures as rules of blogging require. Off course, I can make up one, I always reflect my feelings, thinking about what happening around and living a bit inside my head. But in this case - i just want to post a full series of photos of my daughter Mia captured by Darja Bilyk . Photography and retouch - Darja Bilyk https://darja-bilyk.com/ And a little bonus -...

The edge of the perception

Have you ever thought about how you may look in the eyes of others?  They say, marketing is a skill that let you speak the language of your auditory. From my own experience and my friends stories, I know that most of struggles for new artists, especially when they aim to set up a business, comes from a question - what I represent and how can I state that through my own business style? You see, there is nothing about "what should I produce to be heard" because creations come first, we are already creating them. But if we want to sell them, we need to position yourself on market in specific way, you need to tell your story on language that your...

Secret garden

All creative people, who turned their passion into business, probably know that feeling when you want to try to work with something new but that not gonna take off and become another signature product. And you just not go for that because you feeling like you are wasting your time instead of working on something that already known by your fans and followers. You know your skills and your ways and there is always a luck of time for personal projects. Once my husband said to me - don't feel guilty if you want to work on something that is not related to your brand and style, do something new, just for fun. Because there is no growth in any...
