As there is no varnishing on this piece bronze may change its colour during the storage or contact with water or some solutions. To bring back an original shine simply rub the item with soft cloth (perfect to use woolen cloth). It will case a better result after using some toothpaste or cleaning powder with cloth. Note that you will need to rinse the piece nicely in warm water after that and remove all the moisture with a piece of cloth. But the better way to keep the item shiny is to wear it and to touch its beautiful lines.
To save it in original condition, especially gemstones, it is better to avoid scratchy surfaces during storage or wearing. Bronze is quite strong but delicate metal. Try to avoid bending or dropping.
